An Ordinary Day

I walked into the cafe
I felt a sensation go right through me
I then knew it wasn't just an ordinary day
as something never sensed before came over me

I walk towards the counter
felt eyes on me from behind
should I look at her
naah, maybe its all in my mind

A voice calls me, i turn around,
Somehow, I knew it was her: 'eyes on me'
I then heard not a sound
As her presence completely immobilised me

She shook my hand
What was this captivating feeling
We walked towards the rest of the clan
Oh gosh, next to her was my seating

I can not utter anything at all
I'm so dumbstruck by her
I have never been so drawn
I am getting strong vibrations from her

Her eyes are stuck on mine
We've both gone into a daze
I hope I'm looking fine
What does she see in my face

How beautiful is she
Her personality also attractive
I wonder if she's free
Cos I find her so magnetic

She's telling me about herself
Also of her dreams
What a match I ask myself
I want to hear further reams

its time to part & leave
Surely this cannot be it
So fast is my heart beat
This cruel can't be fate

I walk out of the venue
I have left something behind
I hope I see her soon
I cant get her out of my mind

Im on my way home
I'm wondering and wishing
I then get a text on my phone
'So when are we next meeting'
