People volunteer for many different reasons, from learning new skills and experiences to enhancing their CV’s. Volunteering can be worthwhile, allowing you to give back to the community to help make a real difference. Once you are accepted on one of our roles, we attempt to support and guide you in ways that suit you and your needs – helping you to reach your real potential and achieving your goals too.




Current Volunteering Opportunities

Title: Socials Organiser
- If You Want:
to meet interesting women | get free training | develop skills for your CV | be professionally supported | to support other Muslim women with same-sex attractions
General tasks and duties include the following but is not an exclusive list:
-Organise and facilitate diverse social events accessible to Muslim lesbian, bisexual and trans women.
-Sign post interested parties to the Safra Project website or the Director for advice and information on their individual situations.
-Liase closely with the Director on matters related to the role.
Volunteer requirements:
-Confident and professional manner to be able to run and supervise activities.
-Ability to engage with women and motivate them.
-Support a positive attitude to diverse gender and sexuality.
